Growing up as a dancer and gymnast, cheerleading combined everything I loved, along with the adrenaline rush of being thrown in the air. During my freshman year of college, I was offered an opportunity to cheer competitively again after suffering from an almost fatal meningitis diagnosis and having to leave my collegiate team. After gaining back 20 pounds, building muscle, and progressing my skills, I followed my dream to compete at The Cheerleading Worlds. This year, I will be aiming to compete there for the sixth time.

10. What is the best gift you ever received?
